The city of Bielsa was found in the
Xth and XIth century. Situated at the confluence of
the rivers Cinca and Barrosa, at 1025 meters of altitude.
The main monuments of interest are the town hall with
his Renaissance façade from the XVIth century,
the Church of Javierre with altarpieces of the XIVth
and the XVth century and the ‘Puente Romana’
(Roman bridge). Inside the town hall are the tourist
information office and an important Etnologist museum.
